At Prestige Nursing + Care we are proud to have one of the most experienced management teams in the business of care.

The Team
Jonathan Bruce - Managing Director

Jonathan joined the family business in 1994 following an earlier career in marketing. He has been Managing Director since 2001.

Diane Jared - Finance Director

Diane started her career in food importing and having joined Prestige in 1998 as Financial Controller she was appointed as Financial Director in 2002.

Carol Hunt - Commercial Director

A registered nurse, Carol had extensive experience of the healthcare recruitment industry before joining Prestige in as HR Manager in 2001. She was promoted to Commercial Director in 2006.

Pam West - Staff Payroll Manager

Responsible for both the Head Office and Branch Staff payroll.

Liz Steyn - Operations Manager

Liz joined Prestige as Receptionist in 2007 and then went on to becoming franchise assistant where she assisted with the recruitment of new franchisees and supporting existing franchisees. Liz was promoted to Operations Manager in 2011 and is now responsible for supporting all branches on existing systems and assisting with the implementation of new systems, including implementing Electronic Call Monitoring across all branches.

Wayne Giles - IT Manager

Wayne has been the IT manager at Prestige since 2005 and has been instrumental in implementing all of the technology that drives the systems used both at our branches and at our Head Office.

Omalee Samarasinghe - Financial Controller

As well as the preparation the company's accounts, Omalee manages the Sales Ledger teams, a role she has performed since 2003.

Ian Bignell - Regional Manager

With over 13 years experience in the nursing and care recruitment sector, Ian joined Prestige in 2009. He has previously worked at Consultant and Branch Manager levels, providing both Homecare and Healthcare services. Ian was promoted to Regional Manager in 2013 and now supports our branches in the Midlands and Yorkshire.

Jane Hancock - Head Of Branch Operations

A very experienced branch and regional manager, Jane Hancock has worked with Prestige since 2002 where she has been responsible for managing our branch network in the North and North East.

Joanna Hulbert - Recruitment Manager

Jo joined Prestige in 2010 as Recruitment Advisor for the South Franchises. She then took over Region 3 and quickly progressed to Recruitment Manager. Jo manages the Central Recruitment Team where she oversees the Advisor's' work and compliance, as well as being the main point of recruitment contact for all branches.

Gillian Nelson - Operational Support Manager

Gill joined Prestige as a 'temp' in 2001 inputting data in the company rostering database. She became permanent in 2002 and later becoming Operational Support Manager. She advises and provides assistance to branches and franchises about their rates and how to optimise their margins as well as using her analytical skills to tackle a variety of other questions as well as some management reporting .

Denise Dixon - Member Payroll Manager

After 5 years with Prestige, Denise was promoted to payroll manager in 2007 and is now responsible for ensuring that all our care and nursing staff get paid on time each week.

Sarah Leary - Regional Manager

Sarah joined the company in 2005 as Branch Manager at the Liverpool branch and was promoted to Business Development Manager in 2007. She moved into her current role as Regional Manager in 2011. With 21 years in the Healthcare and Homecare industry, Sarah brings a wealth of experience and support to her branch network.

Helen Buchan - Assistant Payroll Manager


Pam Gordon - Franchise Manager

With a background in finance, business development and franchising, Pam joined Prestige Nursing in 2008 to head up the franchise team. She has extensive experience of working in the care franchise sector and is widely respected within the industry.

Joanne Doherty - Homecare Manager

Jo has been the Homecare Manager at Prestige since 2008 and is responsible for homecare policy and procedure and developing the homecare business nationally at a strategic level and locally by winning contracts for example with local authorities. She is also responsible for ensuring all homecare services are delivered in line will current and new relevant legislation.

Jenny Evans - Quality Manager

Jenny has worked for Prestige since late 2009 initially in the role of Franchise Support Manager and in 2013 moved into the role of Quality and Compliance Manager. Armed with over 10 years managerial experience in commercial, public sector and healthcare recruitment, Jenny supports the network to maintain high levels of Quality and Compliance.

Danielle McNulty - HR Manager

Danielle has been the HR Manager since 2010 and is responsible for leading and delivering a comprehensive HR service to the business, including ensuring we work in-line with the Investors in People framework.

Jenni Mackenzie-Reed - National Permanent Recruitment Manager

Jenni joined Prestige as the National Permanent Recruitment Manager in January 2012, bringing with her many years experience in this field. She has the autonomy and support for building the team, leading the sales activity and driving the growth of the perms division with a 360 recruitment service.
