The Franchise Package

Prestige Nursing began franchising in 1998 and our current franchise package reflects all of the lessons learnt and improvements identified during that time. There are 3 guiding principles behind the design of our franchise package:

• We want our franchisees to be able to work as much as possible developing their business, rather than administering it.
• The franchise has to be supported by realistic and thorough planning both before and during its launch.
• It has to be driven forward by consistently focusing on a small number of highly important success factors.

The successful implementation of all of these three principles has allowed existing Prestige Nursing franchisees to achieve an excellent return on their original investment.

• Full help and assistance with gaining registration with the Commission for Social Care Inspection
• Assistance with finding suitable office premises in the franchise territory and with recruiting suitable office staff where necessary
• 6 month training and development programme for all franchisees that includes a 2 week initial launch training, followed by regular knowledge reviews, training days and service updates.
• Dedicated on-line franchise operations manual with supporting materials
• Automatic enrolment with ISO 9001:2000 and Investors in People standards
• Access to Prestige Nursing’s award-winning care worker training
• Full launch package that includes all business stationery, uniforms, training materials and rostering software
• Weekly conference calls, quarterly regional meetings and annual conferences as part of our on-going support system
• Bespoke real-time management information systems providing information on key performance indicators and other benchmarking standards
• Dedicated support team from Prestige Nursing, including a regional support manager and franchise mentor
• Automatic enrolment with Peninsula Business Services for professional advice on all aspects of staff employment, health and safety and where applicable, tax issues.
• Hosted e-mail service and dedicated web pages for the franchise
• Centralised recruitment administration service for all franchisees
• Hosted payroll and invoice service for all franchisees

Total Package Cost : £30,000 ex VAT

Please note that this figures excludes some additional capital expenditure requirements that would include any deposits for offices or equipment leases, office equipment and furnishing, telephone installation and working capital requirements as per the business plan.
